Safer Internet Day 2022 – #PlayItFairOnline

We are fast approaching Safer Internet Day 2022. On Tuesday 8 February, the Office of the eSafety Commissioner will be asking all Australian’s to #PlayItFairOnline to help raise further awareness about online safety.

The Safer Internet Day Campaign has amazing resources for families, schools and organisations and is a great platform to start strong in 2022 to make online safety a priority for all Australians.

What can I do to support?

You can show your support by signing up to #PlayitSafeOnline and download the Community Campaign Kit with posters, tips for staying safe online, social media images and a guide to communicating the campaign to your friends or in your workplace.

Are there school resources for educators?

New in 2022 eSafety has created a Safer Internet Day School Pledge for schools to share their commitment to online safety with their school and great education community.

You can download an Educators Campaign Kit that includes:

  • Key Campaign messaging
  • School-specific messaging
  • Social Media images and suggested messaging

It is also worth downloading the community campaign kit as it has some more specific resources to include in your newsletter, video messages, emails and even for the school blog.
